I am a dedicated marketing professional with an unwavering belief in the transformative power of healthcare literacy. Through personal experiences witnessing the impact of healthcare on individuals and families, I am driven to bridge the gap between complex medical information and those seeking understanding.

Growing up, my father's journey through multiple hospital visits deeply influenced my perspective on healthcare. As a result of a workplace injury, he faced profound challenges, including paralysis and the amputation of his legs. Throughout his life, he battled complications from bed sores to pneumonia, and eventually, lung cancer, requiring part of his lung to be removed. Hearing about his experiences and those of my family members, I became a firm advocate for informed patients and medical professionals who embrace a holistic approach to care. I believe that this collaboration leads to better medical outcomes, offering patients a more fulfilling life experience.

My marketing journey began with four impactful years at a leading West Virginia marketing agency, where I honed my skills in crafting compelling campaigns and messaging. The privilege of working on projects that promoted health-related initiatives and raised awareness of vital medical services ignited my dedication to using strategic marketing as a force for positive change in the healthcare landscape.

Following my time in West Virginia, I embarked on a transformative three-year collaboration with the largest membership organization for audiologists in Virginia. Immersed in the audiology industry, I understood the challenges faced by both professionals and patients. During this period, I successfully managed and launched a number of websites and oversaw its content strategy catering to both the professional audiology community and consumers.

Currently, I'm embracing a new chapter as a content and marketing professional, serving as a full-time social media project manager in the picturesque city of Innsbruck, Austria. Here, I seize the incredible opportunity to engage with hearing professionals worldwide, fostering meaningful conversations about advancements in the hearing industry and their profound impact on individuals' lives.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in exploring diverse interests. From experimenting with culinary creations and sourcing the finest ingredients to engaging in challenges through games like chess, I'm constantly seeking opportunities to expand my horizons. An enthusiast of mixology, I take pleasure in crafting the perfect gin drink for friends. Additionally, I advocate for the finer art of brewing the perfect cup of coffee, a delightful catalyst for insightful conversations and moments of reflection.
